Obituary for Anna E. Bomgardner Anna E. Bomgardner, 96, of N. Annville Twp. died Tuesday, October 9, 2018 in Countryside Christian Community. She was the wife of the late Victor C. Bomgardner who died in 1980.

Born in N. Annville Twp. on May 29, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Elizabeth Ebersole Shuey. Anna was a member of Krall’s Mennonite Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher, was a member of the ladies sewing circle, and sewed thousands of school kit bags given through various missions all over the world.

She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also, Anna and her husband hosted several Fresh Air Fund children. Surviving are three sons Charles husband of Marlene Bomgardner of Annville, Carl husband of Sylvia Bomgardner of Annville, Jay husband of Lorene Bomgardner of Ephrata, twin daughters Darleen wife of Stephen Burkholder of Mertztown, Eileen G. wife of Frank Kettering of Annville, an adopted son Paul husband of Suzannah Beckles of Floral Park, NY, 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers Jacob and David Shuey and two sisters Viola Stover and Irene Gingrich. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at Gingrichs Mennonite Church, 100 Forney Road, Lebanon at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Gingrichs Mennonite Cemetery.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 9-11 AM at the Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Samaritan’s Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607 in her memory. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville is in charge of arrangements.
