Obituary for Hilda M. Gettle Hilda M. Gettle, 87, of Myerstown and formerly of Bunker Hill, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at Stone Ridge Poplar Run, Myerstown. She was the wife of the late Ellwood R. “Woody” Gettle. Born in Reistville on May 11, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Perry B. and Beulah Heisey Sanger.

For 20 years Hilda worked at Boscov’s Dept. Store in lay-away and gift wrapping. She was a faithful member of the Faith Baptist Church, Lebanon.

She enjoyed gardening, crafts, cooking, baking and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons Scott, husband of Mary Gettle of Fredericksburg, and Steve, husband of Sandy Gettle of Jay, Maine; daughters, Sandra, wife of Steven Robertson of Pompano Beach, FL and Sheri, wife of Dean Patrick of Annville; brother Wilbur Sanger of Lebanon; sister Orpha Doutrich of Myerstown; 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. She was preceded by her brother Robert Sanger.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72, Jonestown. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church, 220 S. 22nd Street, Lebanon, PA 17042. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Hilda M. Gettle please visit our Sympathy Store.
