Obituary for Marian S. Palmer Marian S. Palmer, 79, of New Cumberland, passed away on Tuesday, 30 October 2018. Marian was born in Lebanon on 27 April 1939 to the late Stephen and Phyllis (Knapp) Ninkovich. She graduated from Kutztown University with her Bachelors Degree and continued her education by achieving her Masters Degree from Penn State University.

She enjoyed her teaching career at West Shore School District, eventually retiring from Fishing Creek Elementary School as a 5th Grade Primary Education teacher. Ms Palmer was involved as a former member of the Optimist Club and PSERS. She also was actively engaged at Momentum Gym in Harrisburg being featured in billboard advertisements as an inspiration for women’s health and fitness.

She was a beloved caretaker, often donating her time and loving support to her family and friends throughout her life. She enjoyed gardening, pet sitting, reading and spending time with her family. Ms Palmer is preceded by her sister, Francis Donofrio who passed in 2004.

She is survived by her siblings, Jaqueline Sattizahn of Cressona, Patricia Smith with her Husband Bruce of Hawaii, and Jane Barr with her husband Richard of Pine Grove. She is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday, 9 November 2018 at 1PM at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main Street, Annville.

Inurnment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. There will be a visitation with her family from 12PM until 1PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067.
