Obituary for Harold J. Romberger Harold J. Romberger, 85, of Annville, passed away at Countryside Christian Community on Thursday November 1, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Marion (Felker) Romberger, with whom he celebrated 56 years in marriage this September 22. Harold was born on August 31, 1933 in Wiconisco, PA to the late Clarence O. and Francena (Walker) Romberger.

Harold was a 1951 graduate of Lykens High School, where he served as VP of his class. He was a US Army Veteran, member of the 4th Armored Division, 35th Tank Battalion, serving as the tank commander. He had worked for 25 years at HB Reese Candy Company as an extruder operator in the molding and wrapping department.

Harold was a member of Mt. Zion Road Church of the Brethren. Harold had been an avid hunter, fisherman, and had a compassion for animals.

He enjoyed being outdoors, hiking, ice skating, listening to music, playing card games, and being a homebody. He was a St. Louis Cardinals and a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Harold was most known for being a very humble man, a kind and caring man, and thinking the world of his six grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Tracy L. Romberger and his wife Lorraine of Annville, Teresa “Tess” Acker of Palmyra, Julie A. Graby and her late husband Todd A. Graby, of Fredericksburg, 6 grandchildren, Isaac Romberger, Eric Romberger, Morgan Acker, Alyssa Acker, Brandon Graby, Brooke Graby, and his sister, Anne Rice of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Clarence Romberger, Shirley Dunkelberger, and Arlene Decker.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 11:15AM from Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park with military honors. A viewing will be held from 10AM until the time of the service.
