Obituary for John Andrews Logan, Sr. John Andrews Logan, Sr., of Mt. Grenta, passed away on Sunday November 4, 2018 at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Elisabeth I. (Zechner) Boyd, with whom he celebrated 13 years of marriage this April 16th.

John was born in Baltimore, MD, on February 18, 1940 to the late Charles Amos Logan, Sr. and Anna Katharine (Andrews) Logan. John was a graduate of Drexel University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in engineering. He had worked for the State of Maryland as a civil engineer in the bridge design.

John was a member of Derry Presbyterian Church in Hershey, where he sang in the choir. He was a former member of Stewartstown Presbyterian Church, where he was a clerk of session and sang in the choir. He enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, and watching his favorite baseball team, The Orioles.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, John Andrews Logan, Jr., and his wife Amy, Linda and her husband Steven Boyle, Timothy Logan and his wife Cheryl, his step daughters, Michelle and her husband Douglas Orsi, Pascale and her husband Bruce Fagerstrom, grandchildren, Margaret, Zachary, Sarah, Ryan and Kaden, step grandchildren, Joshua, Maximillian, and Sedona, and his siblings, Charles A. Logan Jr., and his wife Jane, Anna Katharine and her husband Jack Dillion, Daivd W. Logan and his wife Christine, and Mary C. Logan. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11:30AM at Derry Presbyterian Church, 248 E. Derry Road, Hershey, PA 17033. Interment will be private.
