Obituary for Romaine B. Shuey Romaine B. Shuey, 94, of Palmyra died Saturday, November 10, 2018 in Londonderry Village, Palmyra. She was the wife of the late Herman M. Shuey who died in 1987. Born in Palmyra on November 6, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Elwood D. and Dorothy P. Chestnut Hoerner.

She was retired from the Kiss Department at Hershey Foods Corp. Romaine was a member of the Ono United Methodist Church where she volunteered with the Church Day Care, a 50 year member of the Bellegrove Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, enjoyed word search puzzles and Bluegrass music, was an excellent baker, and a loving grandmother and great grandmother. Surviving are two sons Donald E. husband of Debra K. Shuey of Lebanon, Kenneth H. husband of Linda Shuey of Long Pond, a daughter Shirley wife of Rodney Bucks of Palmyra, a sister Pauline wife of Lloyd Walborn of Manheim, five grandchildren Dylan Bucks, Jonathan and Justin Shuey, Laura and Jason Shuey, and six great grandchildren Scout, Mason, Emerson Bucks, Jadison Shuey, and Clementine and Ruby Shuey.

She was preceded in death by four brothers Paul, Harold, Russell, and Robert Hoerner. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Ono United Methodist Church, 9 Main Street, Ono, PA 17077. Interment will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 9-11 AM at the Church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ono United Methodist Church or Campbelltown United Christian Church, 2811 Horseshoe Pike, Palmyra, PA 17078. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville is in charge of arrangements.
