Anna M. Camaioni, age 93, passed into eternal rest on September 29, 2018. Anna grew up in the Beaver Run area of Lehighton. She is predeceased by her parents Cosimo & Rose Galasso and her four brothers, Armondo, & Joseph who remained in the area, Tony who relocated to Canada and Michael who resided in South Carolina.

Anna was the widow of Peter Camaioni who passed away in 2013. Pete, who was widely and fondly known as Peter the Tailor, was also known to have cherished and protected Anna. She was twice blessed with good men in her marriages.

While a young woman, she married Russell Frank who was the owner and operator of Broadway Upholstering Company. Russell passed away at the early age of 47 leaving Anna with 2 teenage children, Russell of Lehighton, married to Rhoda Hansler, and Mary Ann Haupt also of Lehighton, married to John T. Haupt. Anna has 4 grandchildren, Patrick Frank who resides in Palmerton with his wife Dominique and their children, Drew, Jillian, & Clair, Matthew Frank who lives in Ames, Iowa with his loving wife Ami and their 2 daughters, Erin & Sarah, Rebecca Hoover who resides in Sunbury with her husband Caleb and their 3 children, Josiah, Rose, & Corrina, Eric Haupt who resided in Lehighton passed away in 2016.

Anna missed him dearly. Eric’s daughter and Anna’s oldest great-granddaughter, Tamra currently reside in North Carolina. Anna was an active member of SS Peter & Paul RC Church, 242 North 3rd St. Lehighton, Pa.

where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held in her honor on Wednesday, Oct. 3rd at 10 a.m. with the Rev. James Paisley officiating.

No calling hours. Interment in the parish cemetery following the Mass. Memorial Contributions in her honor may be made to The American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, #300, Rockville, MD 20852.
