Carter and Sanford E. Carter was born in Scott County, Missouri, on December 2, 1974. She departed this life at Home surrounded by her family in Ellington, Missouri, on May 25, 2019, at the age of 44. Anna gave her life to Christ and was baptized while attending the Crossroad Cowboy Church in El Paso, Arkansas.

Anna was an avid reader, she loved drawing, painting and crocheting. Working as an EMT for 10 years and as office coordinator for White River Area Agency on Aging was just part of her passion for helping others. Anna’s greatest joy was her loving family and the time she got to spend with them.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Richard Carter. Anna is survived by one son, Devin Barnes of St. Louis, Missouri, one daughter, Kendra Barnes of St. Louis, Missouri, two sisters, Linda Grogan and husband Leon, and Marilyn Baker and husband Greg all of Ellington, Missouri. Three nephews, Seth (Alicia) Baker, Trent (Leslie) Baker and Zach (Alicia) Baker, and seven great nieces and nephews.

Anna will be deeply missed by her family and many friends who will mourn her passing. Visitation: Friday, May 31st at 11 AM, McSpadden Funeral Home Funeral Services follow at 2 PM at McSpadden Funeral Home Minister: Pastor Jim Stewart Burial: Ellington Memorial Cemetery Pallbearers: Devin Barnes, Greg Baker, Seth Baker, Trent Baker, Zach Baker and Leon Grogan.
