Anna M. Kovtun (nee Matrunich) age 89, of Linden, died on Friday March 8, 2019, at the Roosevelt Care Center at Old Bridge. Born in Elizabeth, Mrs. Kovtun was a longtime resident of Linden. She was a co-owner and operator of Big John’s Tire and Auto Sales of Roselle with her husband John for 13 years.

She also was a longtime employee of several of the major phone companies through the 1950’s and 1960’s. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral on Tuesday March 12, 2019, at 8:30 am, from the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. Clark, thence to St. George’s Byzantine Catholic Church, Linden, where a Divine Liturgy will be offered at 10 am.

Interment Rosehill Cemetery, Linden. Visitation Monday from 4-8 pm with a Parastas Service at 7 pm. Mrs. Kovtun is survived by her son John and his wife Judy; daughter Diane; many nieces and nephews, as well as, great nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband the late John Kovtun (2007); 2 brothers Nicholas and George; 1 sister Eva. In lieu of flowers, kindly offer donations to the MPN Research Foundation 180 N Michigan Ave. Suite 1870 Chicago, IL 60601 www.
