Obituary for Anna Ruth Kramer Anna Ruth Kramer Anna Ruth Kramer, 92, of Inlet Coastal Resort Assisted Living in Murrells Inlet, passed to the hands of the Lord on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. Mrs. Kramer was born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland near the town of Salisbury. She graduated from Snow Hill High School and moved to Baltimore, Maryland to work at the Social Security Administration.

It was there that she met the love of her life, Charles Kramer. They were married on June 26, 1948 in Fruitland, Maryland and, at the time of his death in December 2011, had been married 63 years. After retirement, Ann and Charlie left the Baltimore area and moved to Florida where they enjoyed many years of traveling, dancing, woodcarving, ceramics and socializing with the many friends they made.

In 2005 they moved to South Carolina because of failing health and to be closer to her niece, Dee Horton (Lee). After Charlie’s death, Ann became a resident at Lakes at Litchfield and then Inlet Coastal Resort. She truly considered Inlet Coastal her “home” and loved looking at the beautiful knockout roses in the courtyard from her room.

Ann has a niece and two nephews by marriage: Kathy Fiorot (John) of Pennsylvania; David Buzzard (Jan) of Pennsylvania and Wayne Buzzard (Mary) of Arizona. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Socastee United Methodist Church in the 1875 Sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave.
