Anna M. (Stawovy) Karabin, 59, of Ruffs Dale, died Friday, April 27, 2018 in Allegheny General Hospital. Born in Lekawica, Poland on August 14, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Ben T. and Mary K. (Ziak) Stawovy. Anna was born in Poland and was adopted by Ben and Mary Stawovy and raised in Reduction, PA.

Anna loved to cook and travel, and she especially loved her family and her dogs. She was President of the St. Edward’s PTA for 9 years, managed the Yough Midget football concession stand and the Greensburg Central Catholic football concession stand when her sons played football at the respective schools. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard F. Karabin whom she married on June 13, 1981; sons, Alex R. (Chelsea L.) Karabin of Rostraver and Nick B. (Christine S.) Karabin of Chicago, IL; granddaughters, Elyse Claire Karabin and Colette Catherine Karabin; brother-in-law, Michael E. (Lynette) Karabin of Ruffs Dale; and nieces, Helen K. Karabin and Michelle J. Karabin.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www. jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Blessing Service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Vincent J. Gigliotti officiating.
