Sadye V. Neil Myers, 91, of Belle Vernon, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Country Care Manor, Washington Twp. Born November 29, 1926 in Belle Vernon, she was the daughter of the late John C. and Sadye Collart Neil. A lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon, Mrs. Myers was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon and was retired from the former GC Murphy’s, Belle Vernon.

Sadye enjoyed crocheting, working in her yard, taking care of her family and friends and loved to travel and vacation with her husband. She is survived by daughter & son in law Sharon & Ed Stefanick of Fayette City; son & daughter in law John & Sherry Myers of South Carolina; two grandchildren Kristen & Todd Blair, Ian & Jen Myers; four great granddaughters Brooke Myers, Riley Myers, Alyssa Blair, Alivia Blair and three nieces left to cherish her memory Frances Ward, Sally Myers and Joanne Swenson. She is preceded in death by her husband Jesse J. Myers; four brothers Robert Neil, John Neil, Clovis Neil, Aramus Neil and two sisters Rose Gasper and Frances Riskey.

Visitation will be held Friday from 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Funeral services will be held Saturday at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations at 10:00 AM with the Rev. Suzanne Currie of First Presbyterian Church officiating.

Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the Family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Sadye V. Myers to National Stroke Association. The family would wish to extend a very special thank you to Karen and staff at Country Care Manor and the nurses and aides from Amedisys Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.
