She was born February 2nd, 1933 to Joseph and Mary Gattone in Chicago. Sister to Donald (Patricia) and Lucia (David).

She was the beloved wife of the late Gregory Cannizzo. They made their family home in Niles for over forty years. She was always a lover of music and sang for countless weddings, funerals and social events.

She filled her home with song for her four children, Jennine (Richard), Greg (Linda), Mary Jo, and Paul (Renee). Her cooking and extensive recipes for cakes, cookies and all kinds of desserts fed four generations of her family and countless friends, neighbors and relatives. She was the beloved and proud Nonna to Zachary, Hayley, Kelsey, Jacob, Nathan, Benjamin, Miles, Ian and Grace.

“And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make” Visitation Thursday 4 – 8 pm at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave. Niles. Visitation Friday at St John Brebeuf Church 8307 N. Harlem Ave.

Niles from 10:00 am until time of Mass at 11:00 am. Interment Maryhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Anne Marie can be made to the charitable organization of your choice.
