Annie’s Obituary Annie Deloras Banks-Quinn, “fell asleep in death” on May 7, 2019, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Annie, affectionately known as Deloras, was one of 8 children born to the late Junius and Lollie Quinn, Sr., on September 24, 1944. She worked for the United States Department of Agriculture for 27 years and retired on October 1, 2004.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Deloras will be dearly missed by her sons: Leonard R. Banks, Jr. and Keenan (Miriam) Banks; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; siblings: Joan Marie Quinn, Charles (Sandra) Quinn, George (Onjewel) Quinn; nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her daughter Leslie M. Duret, grandson Jamaal T. Duret, Sr., and siblings: Junius Quinn Jr., Harold Quinn, Earl Quinn, and Veronica Quinn.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Saturday, May 18, 2019 for 12:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 6530 Hayne Boulevard, New Orleans, LA. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Minister Lionel Williams, officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Memorial Park, 8200 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA.
