Annie Lee Hockaday Higgs 76 years old was born in Raleigh, North Carolina and left Riverside Regional Medical Center at 2:12 a.m., on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 and walked with her heavenly father. Annie spent her life helping and giving to others as a care giver. She loved to cook, dance, play bingo, card games and just enjoying her friends and family, she was the life of the party.

Annie truly loved God and maintained her beliefs as she rededicated her life to Christ. Annie Lee Hockaday Higgs is preceded in death by her husband McKinley Higgs, her mother Gracie Hockaday, her brother Robert E. King, her grandson Ricky L. Debnam, her nieces Kozzette Yates and Dorothy Johnson. Annie Lee Hockaday Higgs leaves to cherish and continue her legacy, Her loving and devoted daughter Annie Pearl Debnam (Matthew Debnam), two stepsons: Clifton Adkins, Raymond Grimes; two grandsons Erick Debnam, Kelvin Debnam and one granddaughter Shaquan Clyburn.

One sister Betty Jean Yates, a special aunt Ozzie Oneal, a special god daughter Sharon King, two very special care givers Maxine Bremby Taylor and Shawntee King; and a host of grand children, two great granddaughters, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, family, bingo buddies and friends.
