Obituary of Anthony Rango Anthony F. Rango, age 92, of Norristown, PA passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. Tony was born in The Bronx, NY on March 11, 1926. He has been living in Norristown for over 50 years and had previously lived in Delaware.

He honorably served in the U.S. Navy. He was an avid bowler. Tony was a faithful Catholic and parishioner of St. Patrick’s RC Church.

He dedicated much of his time to the church and served as a Eucharistic Minister. He also supported the Patrician Society. He was the beloved husband of the late Rita A. (Cicchini) Rango.

He is survived by his daughters, Cecilia ( & Robert) Matalavage of Pottstown and Ada Rios-Rivera ( & Linda) of Scranton; grandchildren Robert L. Frescatore, III and Brittany Lynn Frescatore; and his great granddaughters, Sophia & Elleanna. Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph & Carmine Rango. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM from St. Patrick’s RC Church, 714 DeKalb Street, Norristown, PA 19401.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing Thursday morning from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at the Church. Entombment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick’s Church at the above address.
