Anton Fogl June 05, 1935 – December 30, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Anton “Tony” Fogl passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on December 30, 2018 at Aurora Hospital in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He was born on June 5, 1935 in Hungry to Anton and Maria Fogl. He came to America at the age of 16 and lived in Chicago most of his life.

On Sweetest Day, October 18, 1958 he married Maria Speer. He worked as a foreman for Heick Die Casting for many years. Several years after retiring, he and Maria moved to Mattoon, Illinois where they lived for 13 years before moving to Kenosha, Wisconsin in April 2018.

He is survived by his wife Maria and three daughters: Christine Marie (John) Rossing; Anna Barbara (Denis) Workman; and Kathy Susanne Mann; ten grandchildren: Timothy, Lisa, Jack, Jennifer, and Michelle Workman; Angela and Johnny Rossing; Tony, Joe and Justin Mann; four great-grandchildren; and sister Ida in Germany. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Maria and Resi. Tony was a loving husband and father and worked hard to provide for his family.

He was an avid Cubs fan. He liked to work with his hands and always had home projects to keep him busy. He enjoyed camping and being outdoors.

Tony had an awesome sense of humor which stayed with him even while battling his illnesses. Funeral Services for Tony will take place on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Bruch Funeral Home, 3503 Roosevelt Road in Kenosha from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M., followed by a Prayer Service. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Aurora Hospital for their exceptional care of Tony during his last few days on this earth.
