Antonia Bevacqua June 02, 1928 – December 29, 2018 Share this obituary Local Florists Upload Photo| View/Sign Guest Book Antonia Bevacqua, age 90, formerly of Upper Montclair, passed away peacefully at Ocean Medical Center on Saturday, December 29, 2018. Antonia was born in Palisades Park on June 2, 1928 to the late Frank and Angela Magnano. Until her retirement, Antonia worked for the NJ Bell Telephone Company and was a member of the NJ Bell Telephone Pioneers.

During her leisure time, Antonia enjoyed watching the NY Yankees and collecting their memorabilia. She was a loving and devoted mother, sister and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by her family.

Antonia is preceded in death by her parents and by her brother Paul Magnano. She is survived by her daughter Rosanne Scardigno and her husband Nicola of Brick, by her granddaughter Nicole LoCoco and her husband Michael of Marlboro and many nieces and one nephew. The family of Antonia will receive relatives and friends for the Visitation on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road Brick, NJ.

The Funeral prayer service will take place 10:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home, followed by the interment at Fairview Cemetery in Fairview, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Antonia’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital by visiting, www. stjude.org/Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.
