OBITUARY Aphrodite “Ditty” Sakatos April 4, 1930 – December 5, 2018 APHRODITE “DITTY” SAKATOS NEWTON – Aphrodite Sakatos, 88 of Newton passed away on December 5, 2018. Born on April 4, 1930 in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Pandelis and Kleofili Milios. Aphrodite was a fabulous cook with a compassionate soul.

Even in her final days she kept the room laughing with her quick wit and beautiful outlook on life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Constantine Sakatos, brother, George Milios and sister, Athena Maleganos. Survivors include her children, Mark Sakatos and wife Anita Montes, Gregory Sakatos and wife Deborah, Stephanie Sakatos, Barbara Sakatos; grandchildren, Sarah Sakatos, Matthew Sakatos, Simon Sakatos and wife Carrie, Benjamin Sakatos and wife Elizabeth, Sean Sakatos, Alexis Williams and wife Framaris, Ariel Sakatos; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Sakatos, Daisy and Fox Sakatos, Paris, Julien and Niko Williams.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 1 PM at Catawba Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Catawba Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the home of Mark and Anita at 3 PM.
