Arlene’s Obituary Haverhill: Arlene (Dlugosz) Antolewicz, 88, a longtime resident of Haverhill, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at the Lawrence General Hospital, with her son, John, daughter-in-law, Renee and two granddaughters, Erin and Ashley by her side. Born in Rockville CT. , daughter of the late George and Aniela (Kosceilnik) Dlugosz, she moved to Salem,NH where she was raised and educated.

She graduated from Salem High School and was a devoted member of All Saint Parish of Haverhill, the former Saint Michael’s Parish and the Ladies of Saint Anne Society. Mrs. Antolewicz was a housewife and homemaker for many years, and then was employed as a district manager for the Yum Yum Shop Bakeries. She later opened her own bakery with her husband and son, Bakers Delite in Plaistow, NH.

She had previously worked for the First National Grocery Store chain in her younger years. Mrs. Antolewicz enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting, shopping and vacationing in the White Mountains. She was devoted to her family and also enjoyed cooking and baking, especially for family gatherings and holidays.

Her favorite trip was to Aruba for her granddaughter’s wedding. Predeceased by her beloved husband Stanley T. Antolewicz in 1999 and her daughter Donna M. (Antolewicz) Holloran in 2008 she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Renee Antolewicz of Sandown, NH, two granddaughters and their husbands, Erin R. and Jason Bouchard of Sandown and Ashley R and Kristopher Smith of Danville, great grandchildren, Jacob, Brandan, Kole, Brooklynn, Kaylin and Ethan, two grandsons, John Holloran and Daniel Holloran, and great grandchildren, Jonathan Holloran and Katie Holloran, a brother Daniel Dlugosz, of Long Island, NY and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Joseph, Albert, Edward, Louis and Stanley and sisters Jean, Julia, Ann and Emily.

Relatives and friends are invited to Mrs. Antolewicz’s Life Celebration to be held on Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Her funeral will begin on Monday morning, April 1, 2019 at 8 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill, MA. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Haverhill.
