Arlene E Grant, age 102, passed away on February 18, 2019, surrounded by her family. She was born in Brockton, Massachusetts on December 29, 1916 to Carleton Gott and Edna Welch. She was an active member of the Central Methodist Church in Middleboro, Mass, the Cabot Club and the Eastern Star.

She loved her family and home on the pond in Middleboro where she lived for many years. In recent years, she and her son Richard moved to Wolfeboro Falls to be near her niece Janis. She and Richard enjoyed the lake in Wolfeboro Falls, New Hampshire as well as living in Florida with Janis during the winter months.

While living in Bonita Springs, FL, she made many new friends. She and Richard enjoyed daily walks in the sun, going to Bingo, and coloring every week. She will be greatly missed by her son, Richard Grant and her sister, Carol Holmes as well as her 8 nieces and nephews and her many great nieces and nephews.

Donations in her name can be made to Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice, 27200 Imperial Pkwy, Bonita Springs, FL 34135 or a Charity of your choice. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring (2019) in the Middleboro Mass area. Arrangements are being handled by Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home – Family Owned Since 1978.
