Lloyd Cameron, 89, of Bonita Springs, FL, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019. Formerly of Joplin, MO, he had been a resident of Florida since 1976. He was born January 22, 1930 in Exeter, MO, the son of Joseph Martin and Susie Jane (née Utter) Cameron.

Lloyd was a graduate of Cincinnati Bible Seminary, known today as Cincinnati Christian University. He also studied voice and piano at the Cincinnati School of Music and had recorded three albums. Lloyd and his wife Barbara had led Evangelist Crusades nationwide.

Singing and preaching were his first loves, followed by the St. Louis Cardinals and tennis. Mr. Cameron is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Barbara (née Owens) Cameron; his loving children, Randy Lynn (the late Sherry) Cameron of Tulsa, OK, Barry Lee (Janis) Cameron of Grand Prairie, TX, Kirby Charles (Kim) Cameron of Ft. Myers, FL and Kristy Goswick of Foley, AL; fifteen cherished grandchildren; and fourteen treasured great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kerry Cameron; and his 6 siblings. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 22, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Anchor Christian Church, 11651 E Terry Street, Bonita Springs, FL 34145. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Anchor Christian Church Building Fund at the address above or to Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice, 27200 Imperial Parkway, Bonita Springs, FL 34135.
