Arlene’s Obituary MEINECKE, Arlene M. – of Davison, age 84, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Rose Cottage Assisted Living. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 5496 Lippincott Blvd. , Burton, MI.

48519; Rev. Gregory E. Ewald officiating. Visitation will be 4 – 8 PM, Monday, May 13, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd.

, Davison, MI. 48423. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church.

Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Arlene was born in Flint on January 13, 1935, daughter of the late August and Mary (Andrykovich) Frisorger.

She married Henry D. Meinecke on August 13, 1955. After 60 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on October 17, 2015. Arlene was active at her church, enjoyed bowling, her cats and tending to her flowers.

Arlene is survived by her children, Greg (Terrie) Meinecke and Cathy (Kevin) McInerney; grandchildren, Alan Meinecke, Christine (Ryan) Hoff and Kyle McInerney. She was preceded in death by her sister Lydia (Bob) Cooke. The family would like to thank the staff of Heartland Hospice and Rose Cottage, especially Shelia and Rebecca.
