Arlyne Theodora Wilson, age 91, went home to be with her lord on Saturday, June 2nd 2018 at the Vernon Manor in Viroqua. She was born on April 19th, 1927 in Cashton to Theodore and Lena (Lavold) Olson. She graduated from Viroqua High School in 1945 and on May 3rd, 1947 she married Roger Wilson.

They farmed at rural La Farge and Red Mound. She and Roger moved into Viroqua in 1978. The things important to her were church, family, singing in the senior choir, and playing scrabble with friends.

She was a long standing member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Viroqua. Arlyne is survived by her three daughters, Rita Messling of Viroqua, Nancy (Larry Padilla) Bicknell of Watertown, and Kathy Jo (Kevin) Diehl of Tampa, FL; seven grandchildren, Eddie Messling, Krissa Myhre, Scott Bicknell, Doug Bicknell, Jason Diehl, Melissa Alband, and Joshua Diehl; she is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, as well as many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Wilson; her parents, Theodore and Lena Olson; a son-in-law, Ronnie Messling; a brother, Norman Olson; and a sister, Glyda Geary, as well as other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 8th at 11 a.m. at the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Viroqua with Pastor Roy Tellier officiating. Burial will take place in the Viroqua Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Thursday, June 7th from 5-7 p.m. at the Thorson Funeral Home in Viroqua, and again from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
