Obituary for Arnold Gasper Arnold Gasper, 62, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at his home. Born March 12, 1956 in Klein St. Paul, Austria, he was the son of the late Ottilie Gasper and Konrad Kaschitz. Arnold worked in the textile industry for 45 years as a mechanical engineer.

He then established Gasper Enterprise, LLC in 2014, where he was self-employed as a consultant until the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, Karen Pratt of the home; brothers, Reinhold Gasper and Gerold Gasper; sister-in-law, Hannelore Gasper; nephew, Florian Gasper; children and grandchildren, Juergen Petzel and his daughter, Lana, and Pettra Loebenwein and her son, Merlin, all of whom reside in Austria. Visitation will be 9:30–10:45 AM Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307 with a memorial service following at 11:00 AM, conducted by The Reverend Joanne Hull.
