A much Loved husband, father, papa, son, and brother, Arthur “Artie” Huff, 54, of Carmi passed away at Deaconess Gateway Heart Hospital in Newburgh, IN on Saturday, May 12, 2018. He was born on February 26, 1964 to Larry Huff and Sue (Ellis) Basham. Artie was married to his best friend Cindy for 33 years.

Together, they had three children, Amber, Cassie and Cort. Artie was a member of the Boilermakers Local 363 Union for 33 years as a talented welder. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Artie was best known as a dedicated husband who never left his wife’s side. He had many friends, and was one you could call if you found yourself in a bind. He will truly be missed by so many who knew and loved him.

Artie is survived by his wife, Cindy; parents, Larry (Brenda) Huff and Sue (Jody) Basham; children, Amber (John) Carroll, Cassie (Jason) Eaton and Cort (Alysia) Huff; six grandchildren, Kaden, Jackson, Aniyah, Chase, Aliyah and baby boy Brodyx who is due in June; and two sisters, Tammy (Troy) Aud, Laura Salus. Funeral services for Arthur “Artie” Huff, 54, of Carmi will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery near Carmi.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in Artie’s memory to Campbell Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
