Obituary for Arthur Robinson Kasey Jr. Arthur Robinson Kasey, Jr., age 84, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 1:18 p.m., Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at the Lucy Smith King Care Center under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Mildred Farley Kasey. Arthur was a Veteran of the United States Army.
He graduated from the University of Evansville with a degree in Engineering. He retired after a rewarding career as a chemical engineer. Arthur loved photography and classical music.
He sang in the community chorus and his church choir for more than 20 years. Arthur was a proud member of First United Methodist Church in Henderson. Survivors include: Wife of 28 years: Martha Kasey of Henderson, KY 1 Step-Son: Gary L. Coffman and his wife Pamela of The Woodlands, TX 1 Sister: Sally Emily and her husband Elmo of Woodstock, GA 1 Brother: Mike Kasey and his wife Sharon of Henderson, KY Cousin and Caregiver: Margaret Ann Vaughan and her husband Phillip of Henderson, KY 2 Grandchildren: Taylor Coffman, and his wife Brittany, and Austin Coffman 1 Great Grandson Nieces and Nephews Relatives and friends are invited to Arthur’s Life Celebration from 4:00- 7:00 p.m. Thursday and again on Friday starting at 10:00 a.m. at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, August 24, 2018 at the funeral home with Reverend Jim Wofford and Reverend Cindy Green officiating. Entombment will follow in the Fairmont Mausoleum in Henderson, KY. Full military honors will be rendered by the American Legion Worsham Post #40.
