OBITUARY Arthur Steele Rose II November 19, 1942 – September 20, 2018 “Arthur Steele Rose II, resident of Louisville, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018. Art was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle who was born on November 19, 1942 in Johnstown, PA. He served in the Air Force at Langley Air Force Base and Fort Knox.

He was an employee of Jefferson Concrete and was with Riverton Truckers when it was founded. Art will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 34 years, Judy Rose; Daughters: Betty (John) Grieshaber and Lauren Weightman; Sons: Richard Rose, Anthony and Aaron (Robyn) Thompson; eight grandchildren: Mark (Hannah) and Shallon Grieshaber, Haley Rose, Gregory and Greyson Weightman, Andrew, Johnathan, and Jennifer Thompson; and one great grandchild: Jack Grieshaber. He is also survived by brothers in Law: Fred and Danny (Donna) Radcliffe; sister in Law: Patricia (David) Haynes and many nephews and nieces.

He also had a brother, David Rose. Visitation Services will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018 from 3-7pm at Arch L Heady and Son Funeral Home located at 8519 Preston Hwy, Louisville KY 40219. A funeral service for close family will be held immediately following visitation at 7pm ET.

Art will be laid to rest at Kings Baptist Church Cemetery located in Mount Washington KY on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 12pm.
