Arthur William Reed, 57, of O’Fallon, Illinois passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital. Born in East St. Louis, Illinois on August 15, 1961, Arthur was the son of William and Irene Reed, Nee McKenzie and they preceded him in death. Arthur is survived by a son, Thomas (Samantha) Reed of Belleville, Illinois and a step-son, Brett Schmand of Arlington, Texas.

A twin brother, Arnold Frank Reed of Ina, Illinois; brothers Francis (Heavenly) Reed, William (Dawn) Reed, Jr., Wesley (Rick Eichacker) Reed, all of Belleville, Illinois and Darryl (Lisa) Reed of O’Fallon, Illinois; and a sister, Tina (Scott) Clover of Troy, Illinois. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Logan, Caine and Abigail, numerous nieces and nephews and longtime friends, Karen Foltz Reed and Darryl Goacher. Arthur was employed as a maintenance specialist at Cedar Ridge and leaves behind many loving co-workers and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held at Creason Funeral Home, 220 West Washington Street, Millstadt, Illinois on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. A memorial funeral service will follow at 7:00pm at the funeral home with Msgr. Marvin Volk officiating.

Private inurnment will be held at a later date at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
