Obituary of Arthur Fronio Arthur F. Fronio, age 73, of Shelton passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Janet Ferguson Fronio. Born in Mt.

Kisco, NY on October 7, 1945, he was a son of the late Amerigo and Ethel Alley Fronio. Art was a talented mason by trade and his creations for all his family members will be admired and cherished for years to come. He was an avid outdoorsman and his love for hunting and fishing with his sons and grandchildren was something he always cherished.

Art will always be remembered for his athletic prowess. He excelled in football, hockey and his favorite sport baseball. His greatest enjoyment however was found in the time he spent with his grandchildren whether it was just spending time with them or cheering them on at their sporting events.

A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his beloved wife Janet of 53 years, other survivors include his loving children, Wayne Fronio and his wife Elizabeth of Trumbull, Jason Fronio and his wife Lesley of Annandale, NJ and Tara Smith and her husband Matthew of Darien; his eight cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Kevin, Tyler, Matthew Jr., Lindsay, Samantha, Ryan and Zachary; his sister, Shirley Williams and her husband Lloyd of South Hampton, MA, as well as several nieces and a nephew. A prayer service will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd.

, Trumbull. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends may greet the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
