BURIAL: Oakwood Cemetery VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Saturday, March 2, 2019, from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Audie Schlee, age 82, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019, in Comanche, Texas. She was born on April 7, 1936, in Gorman, Texas, to Wesley E. and Johnnie (Reese) Spivey.

On June 24, 1955, she was united in marriage to Virgil Glen Schlee in Priddy, Texas. He preceded her in death on December 30, 1969. Audie was devoted to her family.

She worked hard to raise a family and for many years was Supervisor at Sidran’s Sewing Factory in Brownwood. After her retirement from the sewing factory she continued working as a cattle rancher until her death. She is survived by her son, Harvey Rodriquez and wife Karrie of Comanche; grandchildren, Harley, Hazely, Harlynn, Hayven, and Kashtyn; four brothers, Wesley Spivey of Gorman, Cecil Spivey of Comanche, B. B. Spivey of Dale, and J. D. Spivey of De Leon; sister, Nettie Loudermilk of Comanche; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Johnnie Spivey.
