Audrey Elizabeth Renich Hoos entered this life March 15, 1937 and entered eternal rest May 31, 2018. Audrey was preceded in death by her grandson Daniel Froh, her son-in-law Donald Froh, and her husband David Hoos and is survived by her nine children and their families: David and Jennifer (Bedley) Hoos and their children with their families: David and Emily (Nye) Hoos, Jonathan, Matthew Hoos and Justina Rinaldi and their son Jameson Jonathan and Ruth (Schmeling) Hoos and their children Andrew and Benjamin Ruth and Jonathan Fengler and their children with their families: Samuel and Anna (Patenaude) Froh, Adam and Eileen (Kawamoto) and their daughter Kaia, Elizabeth, Elijah, and Jonathan Anna and Don Isbell and their children Deanna and Donald Rebecca and Tom Hubbell and their children Daniel and Julia Lois and Robert Runge and their children Sarah, Elizabeth, Joshua, Mikayla, Joanna, Jayda Rachel and Michael Cain and their children Cory, Brittany, Audrey, Summer, Hannah, Ava Timothy and Sherri (Langan) and their children Bethany, Abbey, Emily, Christian, Lauren, Nathan Stephen and Shannon (Flor) and their children Declan and Tiernan Audrey had a brain tumor removed when she was a young girl. She married David Carl Hoos on August 29, 1957.

Their nine children, thirty-five grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren were their pride and joy. Later in life, due to after-effects of the brain tumor, Audrey was confined to a wheel chair and became less and less mobile. Her husband David was her sole caregiver.

After he died in 2013, Audrey’s daughters Ruth and Rebecca and their families cared for her. During this time, she was diagnosed with dementia. Audrey passed away in Rebecca’s home in Waukesha, WI, on May 31, 2018.

Her body will be laid to rest in New Sharon Cemetery in Hazel Green, AL, where her husband David rests. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 3:30pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Olive officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
