Obituary of Audrey Elliott-Forrester Audrey B. Elliott-Forrester, 62, a local resident of Poughkeepsie, NY since 2000 and formerly of Bronx, NY passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Born on September 19, 1955 in St. Mary, Jamaica, she was the daughter of Aric and Phyiliana Hyde Elliott. Audrey received her Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University.

She had worked as a social worker for administration of children’s services and she retired in 2000. Audrey was a member of the Faith Assembly of God, where she was very involved and was head of the Children’s Ministry. She loved to cook and bake and loved God and her Family.

Audrey is survived by her children; Antoinette Forrester of Queens, NY, Avia Forrester and Aric Forrester, both of Poughkeepsie. She is also survived by her grandson Alyster Forrester of Poughkeepsie, as well as her brother Michael (Cheryl) Wilson and sisters Sandra (Alten) Williams, Grace Jenkins and Barbara and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 10am until 2pm at the Faith Assembly Church 25 Golf Club Lane Poughkeepsie, New York 12601.

The Service will be held at 2:00pm, following visitation. There will be a Graveside Service 10am Monday April 30, 2018 at St. Peter’s Cemetery Salt Point Turnpike Poughkeepsie, New York 12603. Arrangements are under the direction of the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.
