Audrie Arlene Appleby, 84, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away December 7, 2018 at Falling Springs Nursing Home. She was born July 2, 1934 in Shade Gap, Pennsylvania to Franklin and Lillian (Hampton) Snyder. She had worked for Knouse Foods, retired from Pet Ritz and had also worked at Fashion Lane Store in Chambersburg.

She had attended Faith Church of God, Chambersburg until her health prevented her attending. She is survived by her four children: Wendell (husband of Cindy) Appleby of Neelyton, PA, Denise (wife of Dennis) Sites of Chambersburg PA, Galen (husband of Bonita) Appleby of Shade Gap, PA and Jeffrey (husband of Donna) Appleby of Orrstown, PA. She has six grandchildren: Matthew Appleby, LaBreeska Leveille, Benjamin Sites, Joshua Appleby, Savannah Appleby and Timothea Moose.

She has ten great-grandchildren; Melissa, Krista, Ethan, Andrew, Lillian, Gavin, Braxton, Kensi, Jase, and Wyatt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lindbergh Elwood Appleby, five grandchildren, Michael Appleby, Mark Appleby, Zachary & Austin Appleby and an infant baby as well as two infant great-grandchildren, Moose and Leveille. She was also preceded in death by five sisters: Mildred Etter, Florence Diven, Blanche Appleby, Delores Locke, Lois Hower and two brothers, Charlie & Leonard Snyder.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30AM at the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, Burnt Cabins, PA with the Rev. Glen Peck officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 till 8:00 PM at the Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Chambersburg and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
