Barbara Ann Teets, 69, of Annville went to be with the Lord Saturday, June 16, 2018 at her home. Born December 26, 1948 in Hershey, she was a daughter of the late Robert H. and Eleanor M. (Shiffler) Oellig. A 1966 graduate of Lower Dauphin High School, Barb had worked various jobs including school cafeteria, church secretary, and the United States Post Office.

An active lifetime church member, she was a member of Hanoverdale Church and served at various churches as Deaconess, Sunday School teacher, church treasurer, Church Board member and with Quilters Groups. Gardening, crafts, sewing, cross-stitching, spinning, weaving, quilting, tatting, painting, and dress making were all important to Barb, as she won 4-H and Fair awards throughout her life. Her most fulfilling roles were being a homemaker and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Surviving are her husband of almost 47 years David W. Teets; sons Jonathan D., husband of Stacy Teets of Palmyra and Paul P., husband of Carolyn Teets of Quarkertown; siblings Bretta S. Illig, wife of Laverne Eyer of Manheim, Franklin A., husband of Phoebe Oellig of Leola, Bettina F., wife of Rick Brubaker of Hoernerstown and Brenda M., wife of Neil Wagner of Kleinfeltersville; grandchildren Kendall, Grayson, Braedan, and Marielle. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Hanoverdale Church, 577 Hershey Road, Hummelstown with interment in the adjoining Hanoverdale Cemetery. Viewings will be held 6:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday and 10:00 – 11:00 AM Thursday both at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gettysburg Church of the Brethren, 1710 Biglerville Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325 or Hanoverdale Church, Deacon Benevolent Fund, 577 Hershey Road, Hummelstown, PA 17036.
