Barbara’s Obituary Barbara “Barb” Gaut Graham of Baton Rouge passed away January 26, 2019 at the age of 84 with her three daughters by her side. A private funeral service was held. Barb was a beautiful soul with a spirit that was strong and free.

She was loved by many for her kind heart and fun nature. She treasured her time with her family and made family and friends feel loved and special. She enjoyed traveling and was always willing to bring along anyone that wanted to join her.

A trip with Barb was like no other, and she had a way of helping others see the beauty in simple things that might have gone unnoticed. Barbara leaves behind her daughters Kim Lowery (Bill), Wendy LeBlanc (Mark) and Dana Bass (Brandon). She especially enjoyed her role as Meme, and she adored her grandchildren Keely Roussel (Ryan), Caroline LeBlanc, Aubrey and Brandon Le Barrett, and her great grandchildren Kate and Ryder Roussel.

She is also survived by her sister Gail Ragusa. She was preceded in death by her parents Pearl Swindle, F. L. Swindle and Arlie Gaut, and brothers Gary Gaut, Sr. and Ron Gaut. The family would like to thank the compassionate caregivers at Capital Oaks Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and Hospice in His Care, and a special thank you to Chaplain Tommy Cain, Sr. for his spiritual support.
