Bair, 85, of Centerville, Ohio, formerly of Chillicothe, died 10:27 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2018 in Bethany Village, Centerville, Ohio following an extended illness. She was born July 27, 1933, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Herman and Clara Gunlock Brown. On July 27, 1955, she married Richard W. Bair who died October 20, 2000.

Surviving are a daughter, Cherol A. (Richard) Koch, of Dayton, OH; a son, Robert C. (Lisa) Bair, of Chillicothe; several, grandchildren, great grandchildren, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Edward Wolfe. Barbara was a 1955 graduate of Mercy Hospital Nursing Program.

She retired from the Mead Corporation as an Occupational Health Nurse. Barbara was a member of the First Wesleyan Church. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018 in St. Margaret Cemetery with Pastor Jon Welch officiating.

A private viewing will be held for family. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, it was Barbara’s wish that memorial contributions be made to the First Wesleyan Church 89 S. Walnut Street Chillicothe, Ohio 45601.
