Obituary for Barbara Evelyn Levesque (Glidden) Barbara E. Levesque 90 years, a resident of Rochester Street Berwick, Me. , fell asleep in the Lord Saturday December 29, 2018 at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover after a brief illness. Barbara was born in Dover, NH on November 15, 1928 the daughter of Norman and Mildred E. (Freeman) Glidden.

She attended Dover High school and at age twenty-four she became an active member of the advent Christian church; now known as Hope Community Church where she made many lifelong friends. Barbara worked at the Baxter Woolen Mill and General Electric in Somersworth for many years until her retirement. Her greatest joy was collecting antique cars and her favorite was her 1959 Chrysler Imperial which she drove in many parades.

She loved dogs and raised many through the years. She leaves her dog beloved dog, Nevaeh who was her constant companion. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Zelbert Levesque, her children, Timothy Levesque and Patricia Levesque Dunton and her brothers William Woods, Norman Glidden and Harley Glidden.

She is survived by her sisters Millie Emery of Berwick, ME, Elizabeth Sawyer of Rochester, NH, Janis Marconi, NH, Effie Morgan, NH. , Norma Harp, Texas, and by her brothers, Henry Glidden, NH, and Charles Glidden, NH also, many grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Barbara will be greatly missed by her loving family and all those who knew her.

Per her wishes, her funeral will be private, and interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Berwick.
