Obituary for Thomas H. Dooley Thomas Herbert Dooley, 87, of Wells, ME formerly of Waltham MA, died Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at York Hospital with his loving family at his side. Thomas was born June 19, 1931 in Newton, MA, the son of Jack Thomas and Mae Bosworth Dooley, and attended local schools. He was employed by the City of Waltham Fire Department for over 20 years.

Most recently, he was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Wells. Thomas is predeceased by his beloved wife Caroline in 2006. Survivors include his sons, Thomas “Ted” Dooley and Steven of Hoboken, NJ, James Peter Dooley and wife Cheryl of Waltham MA, a daughter Karen Ann Burke of Littleton, MA; his “darlin” Eleanor O’Connor of Wells, and five grandchildren, Kristen, James, Richard and Michaela, and Amanda, Friends may call on Monday, January 21 from 4-6 PM at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 111 Chapel Road, Wells, ME.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 22 at 11 AM at St. Mary’s Church in Wells, ME with Father Fred Morse as Celebrant. Should friends desire, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 383 US Route ,1 Suite 2C Scarborough, Maine 04074 in memory of Tom Dooley in the care of Avita of Wells Walk to End Alzheimer’s Team.
