Obituary for Rejeanne Marie Bailie (Tanguay) Rejeanne Marie Bailie 86 yrs. , a resident of Berwick died Tuesday January 1, 2019 at her home surrounded by family after a lengthy illness. Rejeanne was born in Craftsbury, Vermont on July 23, 1932 a daughter of Alphonse and Leonie (Richard) Tanguay.

In her early years she grew up in the Alfred and Sanford area then moved to Berwick after marrying Earl F Bailie Sr She graduated from Marshwood High School of South Berwick. She worked for her late husband’s business Earl F Bailie Painting Contractor as bookkeeper for many years.

She enjoyed quilting, knitting, reading and spending time with family. Rejeanne was a longtime member of the Our lady of the Angels Catholic Church of South Berwick. She was predeceased by her husband Earl F Bailie Sr. who died in 2005.

She is survived by three sons Earl F Bailie Jr of Berwick, Wayne Bailie and his wife Susan of Berwick and Craig Bailie of Center Lebanon, ME. , and three daughters Marilyn Abbott of Berwick, Deborah Rogers of Sanford, Me and Cynthia Barnes of Orlando, FLA. , a brother Leonel Tanguay of Rye, NH and sister Madeline Gravel of Rochester, NH and 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held from 5 to 7 PM Monday January 7, 2019 at the Laing Bibber Funeral Chapel 36 Rochester Street Berwick, ME. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM Tuesday January 8, 2019 at the Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church 162 Agamenticus Rd, South Berwick, ME 03908 followed by interment in Evergreen Cemetery Berwick, ME.
