Obituary for Nancy Louise Richards Nancy Louise Richards, 71, of Wells, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 18, 2018. She was born November 8, 1947 in Dorchester, MA to John Arthur and Muriel Annie (Krauss) Richards. Nancy grew up in Dorchester and graduated in 1963 from Cardinal Cushing High School in South Boston.

She also lived in Winthrop, Saugus and most recently Wells since 1997. She worked as a waitress at various restaurants including The Daily Catch in Boston’s North End. Once settled in Wells, she worked at Pine Tree Farm Market and Café and Microtel.

Nancy was a fun-loving people person. She was always ready for an adventure and always on the go. She attended many concerts, liked to crotchet and go to the beach.

Her greatest passion was spending time with friends and family. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother, John Edward Richards of Rochester, NH; her Godson Scott A. Krauss; and numerous beloved cousins, friends and best friend of 60 years, Peggy Dugas of California; and cat, Bruno.

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 111 Chapel Rd. , Wells. Interment will take place at a later date at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, MA.
