Obituary for Barbara J. Pagel Barb Pagel passed away peacefully on October 27, 2018. She was born in 1945 to Wally and Vonnie (Ewald) Wanta in southern Wisconsin. In 1964 she married the one and only love of her life, Ron Pagel.

They enjoyed 54 loving years together. Barb’s family was her greatest joy and she was extremely proud of each and every one of them. Her hobbies included photography, camping and attending all of the activities that her grandchildren participated in.

Barb worked at the Waupaca Medical Center and then worked as a secretary to the principal at the Weyauwega Middle School, where she retired after 25+ years of service. Barb is survived by her husband Ron, children Darin (Stephanie) Pagel, and Denise (John) Stahl, her grandchildren Garrett, Ashlee, Marisa, Courtney and Dawson along with April (Brian) McDonough, their children Jovie and Lyla, and Shannon (Chris) Cortright and their children Chase and Connor. She was preceded in death by her parents Wally and Vonnie Wanta and her father and mother-in-law, Fred and Bernice Pagel.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday October 31, 2018 at 12 Noon at Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. Bryan Robertson will officiate.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until the time of the service at 12 Noon at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Holly Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
