OBITUARY Barbara Jane Herndon March 8, 1939 – November 22, 2018 Passed away on Thursday November 22, 2018. She was born March 8, 1939 in Louisville, KY to Joseph A. and Mary C. Raible. Jane attended Mother of Sorrows School then Presentation Academy Class of 1957, and Jefferson Community College.

Married to William R. Herndon for 61 years. Worked in accounting and human res. Enjoyed travel and lived in several states before retiring in 2004.

Left to cherish her memory is her Spouse; children, John Herndon and Tracie Kitchen (Jeff); grandchildren, Jessica and Jacqui Herndon, Sarah, and Lucas Kitchen. She was a member of St. Martha’s Parish and later St. Margaret Mary Parish. She was a kind and caring person to everyone who knew her, saw and did nearly everything she wished for, and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

We wish to thank Norton Cancer Center, Norton Hospital St. Matthews, and Hospice at Norton St. Matthews for her excellent care. Expressions of sympathy may be made to National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation. All services will be held under the direction of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd.

Louisville, KY 40218 on Monday November 26 from 11-2 with the service at 2. Burial will take place in the cemetery of Resthaven Memorial Park.
