Barbara’s Obituary Barbara Jean Cox, age 85, of Bloomburg, Texas, died Thursday, May 23, 2019, in a nursing facility in Atlanta, Texas. Mrs. Cox was born March 3, 1934, in Malta, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of 1st Bikers Church of Texarkana.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert “Frank” Cox, Sr.; one son, Herbert “Frankie” Cox, Jr.; one daughter, Wanda Wall; one son-in-law, Daniel Forrest and one daughter-in-law, Sandra Cox. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Glenda and Herb Davison of Bloomburg, Texas; Brenda Forrest of Nash, Texas; one son, Terry Cox of Bloomburg, Texas and his special friend, Pat Skelton of Texarkana; one daughter-in-law, Josefine Cox of Hooks, Texas; five sisters, three brothers, eighteen grandchildren, forty-six great-grandchildren and eighteen great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at Chapelwood Funeral Home with Rev.

Matthew Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens . Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM Tuesday prior to the service on Tuesday.
