Obituary for Barbara Jean Day Barbara Jean Luecht Day, 79, of Caneyville, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Spring View Health & Rehab in Leitchfield. Mrs. Day was born June 3, 1939 in Mason City, Iowa. She was a hard worker all her life in the manufacturing industry working with National Lock and Campbell-Hausfeld.

She loved UK basketball, Budweiser, polka, dancing and gambling. She is survived by a son, Randy ton of Caneyville and his wife, Carla, and a brother, Craig Eugene Luecht of Sycamore, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Clayton (Joe) Day, and her parents, Vernon Everett Schram and Hazel Cawood Schram.

There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 8 at the New Hope Cemetery, Falls of Rough Road, Caneyville under the direction of Caneyville Memorial Chapel. Bro.
