Obituary for Barbara Jean Kampen Kampen, Barbara Jean (nee Baker), of Eureka, Missouri, was born May 28, 1937, in Gideon, Missouri to Doyne Baker and Margie (nee Grimes) Scheafer and entered into rest Thursday, November 8, 2018 at her residence in Eureka, Missouri at the age of 81 years, 5 months, and 10 days. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wayne K. Kampen and one brother, Doyne Baker. She is survived by her son, Kevin W. (Cammy) Kampen of Eureka, Missouri Two (2) grandchildren, Keith (Danyelle) Kampen and Nicole (Jonathan) Zuellig, Three (3) great-grandchildren, Karson, Aubrey and Keidan, Five (5) siblings, Larry Baker, Ted Jaques, Gary Jaques, Cindy Ray and Beverly Ford, Three (3) special friends, JoAnn, Ray, and Yvonne Many other family and friends.

Barbara Jean loved being around her family and friends. She enjoyed playing casino games and watching baseball. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation Monday, November 12, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri. Service Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri. Interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
