Obituary for Helen R Maloney Maloney, Helen R., of Cedar Hill, Missouri, was born February 4, 1934, in Ridgeway, Illinois to James and Stella (nee Wentzel) Abell and entered into rest Thursday, November 1, 2018 at DeGreef Hospice House in Sappington, Missouri at the age of 84 years, 8 months, and 28 days. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband William Maloney, four siblings, John, Kenneth, Dorothy, Donald, and one grandchild, Andrew Maloney. She is survived by, Five (5) children, Debbie (the late Ken) Maloney-Reeves, Eddie Maloney, Lynne Maloney, Gregory (Sherri) Maloney, and Kevin (Jill) Maloney, Ten (10) grandchildren, Jason Russom (Sharon), Katie (Dave) Sanders, Kyle (Samantha) Reeves, Brandon (April) Maloney, Jennifer Gumpenberger (Justin), Alexandra Quackenbush, Amanda Maloney (Mark), Kelly Reeves (Emily), Rebecca Maloney, and Grace Maloney, Four (4) great grandchildren, Sawyer, Lillian, Evelyn, Ava One (1) step-great grandchild, Mya, Six (6) siblings, Maryann Abell, Lawrence (Rose) Abell, Connie (Jim) Romelin, Patricia Boulds, Bill (Donna) Abell, and Carolyn (Dal) Devine, many friends.
Helen enjoyed working around her house. She loved to bowl, as she has many trophies to show that. She also enjoyed bingo and spending time with her family.
She was an auxiliary volunteer for the VFW and the Knights of Columbus and was the Village Clerk treasurer at Village Cedar Hill Lakes. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation Monday November 5, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri.
Mass Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace, House Springs, Missouri and luncheon to follow. Interment Tuesday November 6, 2018, at 1:15 p.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital, DeGreef Hospice House and the Alzheimer’s Association.
