Obituary for Betty Hastings Hastings, Betty Jean, of Marble Hill, Missouri, was born January 24, 1949, in Fletcher, Missouri to Henry and Virginia (nee Banister) Murdick and entered into rest Friday, December 14, 2018 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 69 years and 10 months and 21 days. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Harrison (Murdick). She is survived by, her husband Jon Hastings, of Marble Hill, Missouri, (married September 23, 2002), three (3) Children, Lester “Tad” (Kelly) Willcut, of Marble Hill, Missouri, Paula (Brian) Jennewein, of Cedar Hill, Missouri, and Natalee (Justin) Borneman, of Delta, Missouri, three (3) Grandchildren, Elizabeth, Brennan, and Morgan, three (3) Great Grandchildren, Taylynn, Adriana and Delanie, one (1) Sibling, Alta (David) Jochens of House Springs, Missouri, one (1) sister in law, Donna Demiere, of Sullivan, Missouri, nieces and nephews, Ginger, Travis and Danny, along with many family and friends.
Betty loved gardening, flowers, fishing, golfing, and boating, but most importantly she loved her family. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hutchings Funeral Chapel, 203 Bass Street, Marble Hill, Missouri 63764.
