Barbara K. (Mudge) Wood, 75, of Cortland, NY, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019, at the Cortland Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Cortland, NY. Mrs. Wood was born in Cortland, NY, on June 8, 1943, the daughter of George and Cleora Perkins Mudge. A lifetime resident of the area, she was an avid bingo player and enjoyed embroidery and crocheting.

In addition to her mother, Cleora Mudge of Marathon, she is survived by her children, Sherri Parker of Cortland, Kevin (Penny Goff) Wood of Marathon, Becki Merchant of Cortland, and Dayton (Brandi Ramireze) Wood of Cortland. She also leaves behind ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Maxine Doane of Marathon; two sisters-in-law; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by two brothers, Ronald and Gary Mudge.

In keeping with her wishes, services will be private.
