Barbara L. (Collina) Yargeau 78 succumbed to pancreatic cancer at home in Bethlehem NH on Thursday, January 10, 2019. She was born June 21, 1940 in Springfield, daughter of the late William and Louise (Cranowski) Collina. Barbara graduated from Commerce High School class of 1958.

She was a homemaker until her children reached high school age, then worked for Sunshine Art Studios in East Longmeadow, MA where she retired as a supervisor. Barbara enjoyed nature, and loved time spent with the family at Moosehead Lake Maine and in the New Hampshire mountains where she last settled with her husband Robert. Many years were also spent as “snowbirds” where she could be found walking the beaches of Fort Pierce Florida.

She was known for her large collection of sea glass. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching the Red Sox. Barbara leaves Robert, her husband of 57 years, as well as two sons Daniel of Bethlehem, NH and Douglas and his wife Kristin of Pepperell, MA a daughter Cheryl Yargeau of Springfield, MA and a sister Dorothy Cullinan of Schenectady NY, granddaughters Madeline and Bridgette Yargeau of Pepperell, MA, Olivia Yargeau of East Longmeadow, MA and grandsons Martin Yargeau of East Lonmeadow, MA and Brandon Peterson of Springfield, MA.

She was predeceased by a brother George Collina who died in Vietnam. Friends and family will gather at Nowak Funeral Home 15 Ludlow Ave, Springfield, MA 01151 on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 3 to 5pm with a concluding service at 5.
